SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM:
Every Sunday, we offer Sunday school classes for all ages. All children and youth are welcome to first attend the main worship service starting at 10:30 AM in the church sanctuary. Students are invited to then sit in the front row together. After the first worship song, the younger students will be escorted out by their respective teachers to the classrooms located downstairs. Parents with infants or toddlers are welcome to check-in their children downstairs in our nursery at this time. The youth will be escorted out after the musical worship portion of the service is completed.
Nursery for Infants & Toddlers – Our nursery opens for child check-in at 10:45 AM.
PreK-Elementary – For all Pre-K and elementary aged students, we offer a multi-aged classroom setting led by Barbara Tanaka & Gerry Capeluto.
Middle & High School – Our youth class is led by Lori Hart & Danielle Andrea with regular special break-out sessions for our High school students.
Every 2nd Sunday of the month is “Service Sunday”. This is when our youth remain in the Sunday service to participate in hands-on ministry in the church. Students are asked to sign up for various volunteer roles such as greeters, sound technicians, as well as musicians. Every 2nd Sunday of the month is also our “Brunch Sunday”. Students may be recruited to help with the set-up and clean-up of this all-church event.
CHILDREN & YOUTH ACTIVITIES:
Family-fun Activities – Once a month, we have a family-friendly activity specifically offered for our children and youth. Some examples include movie night, bowling, miniature golf, game night, etc.
Ministry Outreach – We regularly engage our youth in serving in our local community as the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. Some examples of ministry activities include visits to the Creekside Senior Center and involvement in the Angel Tree ministry.
Summer Program – During the summer, we offer Vacation Bible School every Sunday for our elementary aged students. Our youth are also invited to participate as youth helpers.
Be sure to check out our Calendar page for the latest listing of activities and events!
SAFETY & SECURITY:
We value the safety and security of your child. As a basic assurance to our parents, we require that all of our youth, children and nursery teachers and volunteers undergo background checks and receive training. We invite all parents to actively participate in our children and youth ministry. Your feedback and support are critical to partnering with us to ensure a successful, secure, and safe program for all.
